The Veterinary School of Thessaloniki has passed successfully the evaluation of the European Veterinary Schools. The Laboratory of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases has all necessary equipment for most parasitological examinations including e.g., coprology, serology, anthelmintic tests, necropsies. It has experience with several projects including studies on new and sensitive methods to detect anthelmintic resistance in sheep and goat nematodes and environmentally sensitive approaches to nematode parasite control in sustainable agricultural systems in collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry of the Faculty (Dr. G. Arsenos).
