Farmer`s Corner
One of the main goals of the PARASOL Project is to disseminate the knowledge obtained from the research to farmers, advisors and veterinary practitioners.
There are 10 different countries involved in the PARASOL project, from both the EU and Africa. Farming conditions vary widely between the different countries, for example in agriculture, animal husbandry and infrastructure. One of the aims of the Parasol project is to find regionally appropriate methods to reduce the rate of development of anthelmintic resistance
Researchers in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Morocco have prepared information leaflets in order to disseminate the knowledge gained during the project and educate farmers on the special diagnostic and treatment methods available (to view the information, click on the country of interest).
